Coaching & Mentoring for Boys, Young Men, and Families

Grounded, practical guidance—supporting boys as they grow in identity, resilience, responsibility and direction.

This Is Not Therapy.

It’s Not Tuition.

This is purposeful, relationship-based coaching and mentoring for boys, teens and young men navigating identity, motivation, emotional resilience, relationships, responsibility and major life transitions.

My approach draws upon more than 20 years of professional experience supporting youths and families, as well as my lived experience as a father of two boys, mentor and martial artist.

Support may take the form of direct online coaching with me or a coordinated family approach that combines parent coaching with in-person youth support in Singapore.

A young person does not grow in isolation. Their confidence, motivation, behaviour and choices are shaped by the relationships and environment around them.

That is why my approach doesn't always focus only on coaching the young person. Depending on what the family needs, I may work directly with the parents while a trusted Associate Youth Coach builds an in-person relationship with the young person.

Rather than operating as separate coaches, we work around a shared support plan. I remain involved in the overall journey — coordinating the work, reviewing progress and helping parents understand how they can support change at home.

How It Works

1

Understand the Bigger Picture

Initial consultation with Joe to understand what is happening for the young person, what parents are experiencing, existing strengths and concerns, and what the family hopes will change.

2

Design the Right Support

Joe recommends a pathway. This may involve direct coaching with Joe, parent coaching, in-person sessions with an Associate Youth Coach in Singapore, or a combination of these.

3

Journey, Review and Adjust

Joe continues to oversee the overall journey. Where an Associate Youth Coach is involved, relevant observations and progress are reviewed together while respecting the young person's privacy. The support plan can then be adjusted as needs change.
