Through challenge. Through reflection. Through responsibility. Through guidance.

There comes a time when a boy needs more than advice. He needs to be challenged, recognised and invited to take greater responsibility for the man he is becoming.

This is not about fixing your son. It is about creating the space for courage, direction and a deeper relationship between father and son.

This journey may be for your family if…

You want to mark your son’s transition into greater maturity.
You sense that you and your son need time away to reconnect.
Your son is navigating identity, confidence, responsibility or direction.
You want to create a meaningful father–son memory before the next stage of life.
You want something deeper than an ordinary family holiday.

The journey is typically designed for adolescent sons aged 13–19 and adapted to each young person’s age, readiness and family situation.

Picture 7

The Heart of a Man

Who am I? What am I made of? What am I here for?

The Poser

Where do I perform instead of living with honesty?

The Battle

What am I fighting for—and how do I fight wisely?

The Wound

What message was planted, and what is actually true?

The Beauty

How do I offer strength through respect and responsibility?

The Adventure

What makes me come alive, and what purpose am I discovering?

Presence over perfection

Picture 8

Presence: Devices away during activities. Show up fully.

Respect: Listen without interrupting, mocking or belittling.

Effort: Give your best, especially when it is uncomfortable.

Courage: Speak honestly and allow others to do the same.

Confidentiality: Protect what is shared within the journey.

Responsibility: Own your attitude, actions and commitments.

Not a perfect family. A more intentional one.

The closing blessing

Greater understanding between father and son
More honest and respectful communication
A clearer sense of identity and direction
Shared language around courage and responsibility
Meaningful memories created through challenge
Commitments that continue beyond the retreat

May you fight bravely.
May you live boldly.
May you love faithfully.
May you guard your heart.
May you become the man you were created to be.

A father of two teenage boys, he brings together developmental coaching, family work, faith and his own martial arts journey in Chiang Mai to create experiences that strengthen both boys and their relationships with their fathers.

What parents say about working with Joe

“Our family is deeply grateful to Joe for his guidance during a very challenging period with our teenage son. Even after one Zoom conversation, we felt supported and began to see a positive turnaround.

Our son returned to sit for his examinations and enrolled in tuition to prepare for his O-Levels. While the journey is still ongoing, the change in his attitude and direction has been very encouraging.

What stood out was Joe’s practical, compassionate and non-judgmental approach. He genuinely listened, understood our situation and helped us navigate it with greater confidence. We highly recommend Joe to parents seeking support and direction during the teenage years.”
